Original 16-page (plus cover) English language brochure for the Bentley Azure two-door open tourer. Launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1995, the new Bentley Azure was an open-top derivative of the Bentley Continental R (originally launched in 1991 and the first Bentley with a unique body-style, not shared with a Rolls-Royce, for almost 30 years). The Azure (together with the Continental R) continued in production until 2003. Subsequently, a brand-new Azure was launched in 2006 based on the Bentley Arnage platform. The Continental R was replaced by the brand-new Continental GT developed under Bentley’s Volkswagen Group ownership. Printed 1995. Interesting brochure covering the newly-launched Bentley Azure open tourer. There is a 2-page colour picture of the exterior and a 2-page colour spread showing the interior. Please note the other pages are mainly in black and white and feature slightly unconventional ‘artistic’ shots of the Azure. The accompanying text is more atmospheric than providing any great detailed information about the Azure, although there is an outline specification provided at the end of the brochure. Please note also that, in addition to the plain white front and back covers, the inside cover pages are blank, though the inside rear cover page features a flap where the separate Bentley Azure price list is positioned. This price list features the recommended basic price + VAT in the UK (£215,000 in 1995). The back of the price list features brief information about the services of Mulliner Park Ward, the coachbuilding division of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Size: 253 mm x 250 mm (please note that the brochure’s dimensions mean that scanned images do not quite show full page size). Good condition although there is some light marking on the front and rear covers and on some of the inside pages.
